Chamber Celebrates 30th Annual Awards

GroupRoof_RETOUCH-1024x791Huntsville, Alabama, August 25, 2015 — The Chamber of Commerce of Huntsville/Madison County has announced that Transcend is a finalist in the Chamber’s 2015 Small Business Awards. Transcend, the Fearless Company, was founded in 2002 by Laura Huckabee-Jennings and delivers practical solutions for business leaders through its leadership development programs.

The company is one of the contenders for the Small Business of the Year in the Business/Professional Services Category.  “We are proud of the team that is helping us grow fearless leaders in our community and beyond,” said Huckabee-Jennings. “With more than 125 nominees, we are thrilled to receive this honor and to be among the elite small businesses recognized for 2015.”

The awards were established 30 years ago to honor small businesses that are making an impact in the Huntsville/Madison County community. A panel of judges provided by University of Northern Iowa Regional Business Center & Entrepreneurial Outreach will determine the winners, without knowledge of the names of the nominees. The winners will be recognized on Friday, September 11 at the 30th Annual Small Business Awards Celebration at Huntsville’s Von Braun Center.
